In response to the global recession, IBLF is working with its partners and networks on the value of convening the private sector, government and members of civic, service and social organizations to discuss the role companies can play in relief and recovery efforts to mitigate the impact being experienced by millions of people:
The first phase captures global good practice in business-supported employability programs, job creation and SME development in a framework that shows how companies can engage in collective action.
The second phase will convene a series of cross-sector leadership dialogues at a regional level to discuss examples and refine the framework.
The last phase will be informed by the first two phases and will look for opportunities to support further collective action on the ground, ultimately leading to scaling up existing or starting new innovative programs.
